    Beautiful Waterfalls
Enjoyable hike that descends to a beautiful sight of a double waterfall. Bring a towel and a swimsuit to change into so that you can swim in the water near the falls. The trail crosses private land, and you will need to pay EC$5 to hike but this includes a walking stick which is very needed. The trail is well marked, and a guide is not needed. It is a little under a mile each way on the out and back trail. Hiking back out is a killer and the trail is pretty steep in parts with lots of steps. Good shoes are important. You can reach the start of the trail by catching the #6 bus (minivan) from the bus depot in St George's. The ride out there and back with locals is part of the adventure. You should be able to ask the driver to drop you off at Seven Sisters. Take note that I first got off at the Grand Etang Visitor Center to hike up Mount Qua Qua with the plan to catch another bus to take me onward to Seven Sisters when that hike was completed. However, I couldn't find an empty bus even after waiting and ended up walking the 1.9km from the visitor center to Seven Sisters along the road which took just under 30 min. I had no problem flagging down a #6 bus for my return to St George. This can be a popular hike, but I didn't encounter too many others when hiking in the mid to late afternoon.

A must do on when in Grenada.
The Seven Sisters Waterfalls 10:30 19th March 2024 As you turn off the main road to the Seven Sisters, you approach the first pay booth. This is not the official payment office. It is preferable to book online but if not. You have to travel  further down the track to the Grenada highwire office. Here you'll be greeted by the wonderful duo of Colin & Rosemarie, who you will pay for the visit. They will greet you and explain all about the falls, the terrain and introduce your guide and supply the trekking stick. Keep the stick close as it's really helpful when descending but definitely required when ascending. Then its a short walk over even ground before you start the decent. As you start the trek down across the rocks, pathways, clay and bamboo steps. You'll start feeling like an early explorer, with various accompanying bird songs along the route. The guide pointed out the bamboo trees along path and the flowers and fauna. You can hear the cascading water as you make your way down but you cannot see it. However when you reach bottom you are greeted with the most beautiful sight of two levels of falls flowing into an almost clear pool. The water is cold, mark my words it is. After dabbling my feet a little I decided to take the plunge. It is one of the most refreshing dips that I have experienced in many a year and it sets you up for the return journey. Once dried off then your ready to start the accent, which takes a little more energy but with the stick you'll make light work of it. When you arrive back at the start, you'll be happy to have to done it, and then tick it off your bucket list an sink a cold beer or not.

Seven Sisters falls with Grenada Highwire
We booked a tour with Grenada Highwire and had an amazing tour and experience with the guys. Randy our tour guide and Collin our driver picked us up at the cruise terminal and we went to the start of our hike to the seven sisters waterfalls where Rosemary waited for us to give us our hiking equipment and showed us the restrooms before we started our hike. We did a great tour on the 20th of march with Randy to the falls. He showed us some nice hidden spots and explained a lot to us. We also had the possibility to swim in the falls. As we came back Rosemary already waited for us with fresh fruits and some cold drinks. On our way back Randy stopped for us to take some pictures and he told us a lot about the Island. All in all it was such a great tour and they treated us so well. We felt so comfortable with them and they did a great job. We can recommend a tour with them and we would do the tour again :)

    Beautiful place, better host!
An amazingly beautiful 2-hour stop on our drive from St Georges to Petite Anse! The highlight was our incredibly charming and professional guide that we met as we walked up to the start. He politely asked if we would like a guide, we complied and he opened our eyes to the beauty and history of the Falls and of Grenada in general. Terron Mitchell was his name and we had a magic 2 1/2 hour session!

Be warned, it might POUR with rain!
It poured with rain about 5 minutes into our hike and kept raining HARD for at least 20-30 minutes. We were drenched! So do this in shoes you are ok with risking getting water logged and muddy. Waterfall was lovely! The hike was strenuous for this 58 year old. The teens in our group were fine, but they are all fit.

Beautiful falls, hike is pretty intense.
The hike is not moderate, it is pretty intense so be aware of that. The falls are beautiful but we hit a torrential down pour walking back up and the rocks are very slippery and muddy. Also, make sure to talk to a guide, if you want to do all 7, then it is my understanding you must do a few jumps, and one is 40 fee tall. We opted to only door falls 1 and 2, which is pictures here an the hike to them and backup is likely enough for most people. It is very beautiful and you can swim in them.

Must do Rainforest Hike if in Grenada
This was on my list of must do’s whilst visiting Grenada. I couldn’t wait to get there. I did this tour as a solo traveller. The hike is not challenging and around 25 minutes if you are fit. If you are not, it’s moderate and could up to 35/40. A fair amount of steps and climbing but it is worth it. Wear trainers/sneakers/water shoes like crocs and bring water. Very refreshing to dip in both the top and bottom waterfall. Recommend booking Mr Munroe Taxi and Tours on +1 (473) 420-0463 he really knows everything about the island including nature and wildlife as well as the best places to go, best times etc. I toured the entire island and his services were impeccable.

A Lovely Experience Despite The Hurricane
We went to the Seven Sisters falls about 3 weeks after hurricane Beryl. Our taxi driver drove past a building at the entrance road and parked at the start of the hiking trail, where he normally pays. The rainforest trail was still rather enchanting , in spite of fallen trees that was cut up alongside the trail. There was still enough lush greenery and bamboo to admire. Walking down the trail that we encountered 2 people working with a chainsaw cutting and clearing trees. Our driver told us they were the people where we would have paid the entrance fee if they were open but they closed up shop to clear the trails. The waterfalls still had a lot of debris and massive trees that came down into the water. Fortunately we were able to take a dip in one of the waterfalls ponds. Overall it was still an enjoyable day and we wish all the people affected by hurricane Beryl, well.

When you turn off the road to the falls you get ushered into the first building where they take payment for parking and try to sell you a tour guide which you definitely don’t need. However if you ignore them and go further down the road you will come to another office and place where you can park. As rainfall has been high it’s impossible to reach the falls unless you cross private land. Would be great for the ministry of tourism to sort this out so people don’t get scammed

The experience we had of the walk to the seven sisters was great. We arrived at the car park and met Quan who was a brilliant tour guide. He led us through the forest and pointed out all of the fruit and nut trees along the way (we would definitely have missed these if we went on our own) and then headed to the waterfalls (only saw the first 2 at our own choice), we spent as much time there as we wanted and jumped in the water. He led us back to the hut/car park where he gave us a cold beer and were asked to pay what we felt the trip was worth. Quan was so pleasant and a great guide, thanks!! The walk would not have been the same without him.

The review left by Sam was spot on!
It was a great hike and the waterfalls are beautiful. When visiting though please make sure to PASS the red shack building that says “welcome to seven sisters waterfalls” and go down the road till you get to the black house on the hill. The trail is privately owned and currently there are people who do not work with the owners who try and get money from travelers. There is also a parking lot before you get to the black house that says 5 dollar parking, which is also un associated with the trail. The owners, Rosemary and Family are nice and are the only ones maintaining the trail so be respectful and pay the fee to the rightful owners. Take extra shoes in your car or wear shoes that can get full of mud.

I actually would have given this 5 stars before even arriving due to the absolutely amazing service from Yvonne in just arranging this! I felt like I made a friend she was so lovely!

However the tour itself warranted 5 stars anyway - Sherri and Gillian were brilliant, knowledgeable and great fun and Rosemarie was so welcoming on our arrival.

And that’s before even talking about the trail itself and waterfalls. It was very challenging in parts but exhilarating and rewarding. I know a lot of reviews on here say not to bother with a guide but I think the properly organised hikes arranged directly through their website (grenadahirewire) are worth every penny. (and possibly mean you see parts you otherwise wouldn’t)
Couple of tips - take the walking sticks and definitely wear proper shoes it makes all the difference. We actually had water shoes which I think were perfect for this.
