I will never not do this service. It was the best money spent. They greet you as soon as you get off the airplane, you take a golf cart to their beautiful VIP lounge. Water, Coffee and drinks served, nice restrooms to use while you are waiting for your luggage. You are then escorted past the long lines and taken out the VIP exit where our transportation van was awaiting us.

We booked this service weeks in advance directly through the PC VIP contact page, received confirmations, and were charged for both arrival and departure services. We were met on arrival and that experience was good, but upon departure, we were told they had booked the wrong date for us and were refused service even though I could show the staff the confirmation from their own email address. Staff at the departure desk were rude, unaccommodating, and just did not seem to care. We have had to dispute the charge with our credit card company as no one responds to requests for refunds.

The service was not great once going to the back area. Food was mediocre at it's best but the one employee was extremely rude and not welcoming at all. But hey, that's Dominican Republic for you. Check in for the lounge was a bit discombobulated and people were getting upset. It was great to get away from the folks in the regular waiting area and if you want to go for a swim, they do have a rooftop pool.

You vacation is basically over but it continues a little bit longer here in the lounge thanks to the full bar, delicious food and snacks and of course the outdoor pool and it amazing airport-views! If you are an Av Geek this place is pretty cool to do some spotting! Full shower and rest room facilities afford you the ability to take a dip in the pool and get ready for you flight! Highly recommended!

Just wondering if VIP services is actually real.

We are all set and ready to visit the beautiful country of Dominican Republic, however trying to finalize the last piece of our trip via VIP services has been nothing less than irritating.

A month before our trip, we trip booking VIP arrivals. Calmly waited for our confirmation...never received anything. Thought maybe we didn't do something right, so 2 weeks later we tried again. This time getting a message that we would hear something within 3 days. WRONG! We have heard nothing and are now 5 days out from our scheduled arrival.

We tried calling...not once but 5 times. Called the number provided, forwards to a message in Spanish (my Spanish is okay, but cannot suffice), didn't matter much because the call automatically hangs up. Called the main airport number, explain...they forward to the same number and yet again we are hung up on.

Call back and explain the number does not work, so they actually get us to a live person. We fill them in on the issue, they type away and then magically the call drops. Call back for the 4th time now, explain to them what happened they again forward us to the number that doesn't work. At this point it's laughable. We call back, wait on hold for 3-4 minutes, apologize to the guy for continuously calling (because it's our fault of course). He puts us on hold and then tells us no one is at VIP services. We explain we just spoke to someone and he says well you will have to call back in 30 minutes.

I mean seriously.....you want to charge people for a service, but then you don't (a) confirm they received the service (b) have a phone number that doesn't work (c) hang up on them (d) no one is working during "working hours."

I guess Punta Cana VIP services doesn't want to take our money or anyone else who follows our travel adventures because we are definitely not recommending this service.

We are travel agents and we have booked several of our clients with VIP services at the Punta Cana airport and we’ve had several of those clients be treated poorly, They had their reservations canceled at the last minute or other issues. We were just in the Dominican republic so we decided to try it ourselves, because we should know what we are talking about, well when we arrived they were there to get us & take us to some makeshift lounge roped off in the corner, took my credit card for payment and then proceeded to hide the credit card from me for an hour because their credit card machine would not work! You would think if your credit card machine is not working you would just apologize and let the client go on their way because that’s your problem not the clients problem. But instead the girl refused to give me back my credit card, held it from me until they finally got it to work an hour later! We almost missed our transfer and they would not bring a supervisor to us to apologize or hear our concern. I emailed and complained to them and said that we had the departure service but we feel like they should refund us our money for the hour delay and the unprofessionalism of arrival, But NO they replied back with “Our credit card machine was not working & we will just cancel your departure service as well?!“ I replied back “no do not cancel my reservation” BUT I never heard from them again. We did not use their service on the way back I even emailed them again how unprofessional they were & no reply. This travel agent and this travel agency right here will never use them if you’re smart you would never use them.

We had the service booked for our arrival. We saw the ladies with the signs and did not see our name. The ladies were not friendly from the start. Kept talking to someone via the walkie talkie. I showed her the confirmation email and more time went by just standing there. We were then asked if we had pre paid for the service, which I thought was an odd question since it says on the confirmation pay upon arrival. Once we replied no, that was that. She became rude and dismissive and said we are overbooked, sorry can't help you. At this point our entire flight had deplaned and we were at the back of the line. At one point we were told another agent will meet us downstairs and to look for them, which was a lie. When we made it to customs and tried to ask a woman if she was from VIP the previous rude woman appeared and obviously told the new person to ignore us. Total waste of time. We did arrive in Terminal B and it was not crowded. The service would of had been nice but not worth the money.

I am spoiled by Club Mobay. I was hoping the VIP Services Punta Cana would be the comparable. The arrival service is a must have for bypassing the long lines in customs. I love the fact that they go to baggage claim and retrieve your luggage. However, there is not a true arrival lounge. The arrival lounge is a roped off area with a few seats and mini fridge with drinks. The departure service was hard to locate in the airport. Our attendant was not there when we arrived. I ended up going through customs on my own. I did locate the departure lounge. While it is a major improvement over the arrival lounge, it is leaves me wanting as far as the service, bar selections, and food is concerned. I do not see the value for the money. Departure Service $100 to $125 per person. The food was not individually packaged. It was a buffet. Only soft drinks and local alcohol was included there was an upcharge for international beverages or any top shelf drinks. The best thing about the service is the lounge is air conditioned and offered comfortable seating with electrical outlets. The pool and outdoor area is a cool feature.

What a fantastic way to kick start our honeymoon! For those that say it's like insurance, they are correct. But honestly, I can't see myself NOT getting this each time I go to the DR! Travel day is hectic, stressful and exhausting, but getting off the plane right to a golf cart that brings us to a lounge for a beer, while everything is taken care of is absolutely priceless! We probably saved about 15-20 minutes as we saw some of the people on our plane arrive at the resort, but it was still worth it to us. Next time we are definitely trying departure!

VIP service is like insurance. If you buy it, you don't need it. If you don't buy it, you'll need it. We decided to buy it on arrival and departure this week and I am glad we did.

On arrival, the young lady met us at the bottom of the gangway for the plane in a golf cart. We went straight to the VIP lounge and avoided all of the people at customs. She took care of all of our paperwork in the lounge, then went and got our luggage. From there, she walked us out of the airport to our transfer for our resort. It was very quick and easy. Our driver said it's been taking people over 2 hours from the time they land until they came out on the day we arrived. It took us less than 30 minutes. So it definitely paid off on arrival and I will get it every time.

On departure, we arrived and went to the VIP office. The agent took our Passports and Covid test and processed our stuff there in the office. Then she walked us to the front of the line to get our tickets, which we passed about 50 people in line to get this. From there, we went to a security area to go through security. This was nice because we avoided everyone at the main security area. Then we went to the private VIP lounge. It was nice there with the free wifi, drinks and snacks. We went out into the airport and then came back and relaxed until it was time to go to our gate to board the plane.

I will get VIP every time we come back to PUJ. For me it was worth it.
