The day was a perfect sunny day all day. Everything was very smooth pickup from resort was right on time. Dropped off right in front of boat . The boat was very nice the crew was very good serving drinks playing music helping us get on and off boat if needed. The only down fall was beach at saona island that we went to was very rocky, I have been to saona island before went to a different beach there was no rocks . Lunch was good at island pork chops were delicious. All in all it was a great day and excursion and I would us wannaboats again thank you Oscar for making it happen.

We are very happy to know that everything was perfect with exemption of the visited beach in Saona island. The beaches suffer changes due to weather conditions and some rocks can appear some day due to a storm but then get usually covered again fast..

We chartered a boat from Wannaboats.com to visit Saona Island at the end of December 2022. We had a great time on the island and in the natural swimming pool (Palmilla). The beaches at Abanico and Catuano were very nice. We had a great lunch at Catuano. The food was delicious, and the view from our table to the ocean was marvelous. We loved the natural swimming pool, where we could stood up and play far from shore. In addition to the beaches, we also did snorkeling at the Catuano beach and saw sea stars off Palmilla (my kids held them in their hands underwater).
I must give Aida from Wannaboats.com a lot of credit for this nice day trip to Saona Island. She was very helpful and very attentive when I was looking for a boat that’d fit our likings. She also offered us a lot of good advice on the beaches and food, and answered a lot of my questions on the itinerary.
The captain, Omar, and his assistant, Jaime, were very friendly and helpful. They were also very flexible when we suggested changes in our itinerary. We had a later start in the morning due to an engine issue that needed some fix. But Omar kindly extended the trip and arranged the return so that we watched a beautiful sunset on our way back.
Communications with both Aida and Omar were great. They were very responsive, helpful, and accommodative. Once the boat was selected, the rest of the booking process was very straightforward.
I highly recommend wannaboats.com if you are interested in chartering a boat in the general area of Punta Cana/La Romana/Bayahibe in Dominican Republic. I also highly recommend captain Omar and his boat.

We booked a sailing catamaran with Wannaboats to visit Saono Island.
We have chartered many yachts in the Mediterranean but never the Caribbean. We had high hopes!
From the start the booking team were attentive and on the ball! Communicating through and managing us really well when we had to cancel due to the sea state being too bad to sail! They organised a high class chauffeur’s car to pick us up and drop us back to the hotel, completely seamlessly rather than a scary minibus taxi like most!
The boat was spacious and exactly as sold to us (the same boat turning up that is in the pictures sent to you is always a good start)
The crew were fantastic, our “service” crew member “Sam” was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond finding us sunbeds in the shade on the beach we visited, getting us our own table to eat at so we weren’t bothered by beach vendors, he even gathered up some beautiful shells to show us on the beach!
We went swimming and snorkelling and found fish and stir fish and the captain even managed to find dolphins that played off the bow for most of the trip back!
We couldn’t have asked for more!
(WARNING..sun cream is essential as the wind makes you feel like you aren’t burning in the sun but trust us….you are!! 🤣🏝️☀️)
Doing this trip privately with wannaboats meant that we visited places away from the mass crowds of “tourists” getting a much more exclusive experience of the beautiful island of Republica Dominicana! 😍😍

Super easy booking and great experience with boat. I chartered the VIP Boat out of Punta Cana. The owner’s communication with me was great and the staff onboard fun, engaging and professional. They were incredibly accommodating. I would recommend this service and specifically booking the VIP boat if you happen to be in the Dominican Republic. I will be happy to use WannaBoats for future bookings.

They pushed back our start time 3 times. Once the day before, then twice the morning of and theres nothing to do in the area that early in the morning. Restaurants aren't open or anything. The boat i booked was changed the week of. Then we paid the extra $250 for food and we got a small fruit plate and 6 chickens that they grilled and ate some of it themselves. We also were within 30 meters of the dock the entire time and when we asked if we could go further out they said they couldn't. We got solicited by other people in the dock for $600 for the day! and we ended up paying $1600.... to compensate us on delays they wanted give us a deal to rent jet skis for $100 an hour! They were thieves and we were suckers. do not waste your tie booking ahead. just show up or work it out with a local.

Thank you for taking your time to review your experience, but we at WannaBoats are very surprised about your review because this is the first time we get noticed of this incident, in case it has happened. As we don't even recognize any boat charter of $1600 in September, so don't even know if you are a real customer.
It is very weird because right after all trips, we at WannaBoats, send all boat owners (and all clients too) an email to valuate the boat conditions and crew members service. Is on that email that you should have valuated the services received by the boat operator, so other users can read it and also the same boat manager get noticed of your review, so they can take action to repair/change anything for future services.
Also, it is weird that you haven't let us know anything until now. As we at WannaBoats would helped you out to get the right service if you had communicated with us during all this schedules changes.
Anyway, we hope you can communicate better with us in your next adventure so we can assist you if any incident/changes occur to you, and if you are a competitor trying to damage our business, thanks for allowing me to explain how we work at WannaBoats!

I was on 07.09.2022 there. I rent a JetSki for 1 hour, 2 Pers, for a fair price.
The Jetski:
- POWER, POWER, POWER!
- was looking good
- technically got
Because they was a little mistake when I arrived there I give only 4 points and not 5. (Normal they get 10 fom 5 points from me, the next time)
BUT very important: I HAVE TO RECOMMEND it for everyone! It was a Wonderful experience and the employers are ALL very interested to make for you a nice day.
They help you on the phone (call), via WhatsApp, via E-Mail.... you get a good service in English if you need. But I liked it because an other reason too. They have an " after sale service " that really shows me that the tourists happiness is important. After I was ready with driving I get a message in WhatsApp. I was asked about my experience and if I was satisfied.
The next time when I will be there, I propose myself to book more hours.
This I recommend for all. You have to book min. 2 hour to enjoy it.
And from me now: a very big THANK YOU VERY MUCH to all team members!

I used WannaBoats to help arrange a private half-day. The cost was $450. We were sold time for a snorkel, a 'natural pool" and tropical drinks. The actual boat provider was Blue Marine. I'll start with the snorkel, it was a small, crowded reef about 5 mins from shore with very little marine life. Blue Marine had no fins for us to use which makes snorkeling in any kind of a current a challenge. Additionally, there was no ladder to get back onto the boat. One of the crew manning the boat, pulled us back onto the boat by our arms, and we both got bruises on our legs. Anyone who snorkels or dives knows this is unusual. The natural pool was a shallow beach area another 5 min boat ride away. This area was also very crowded and noisy with many party boats. In the email to WannaBoats from booking, I had requested a quiet outing and unfortunately, we didn't get that. Last note, the boat itself, it was dirty and not in good condition. The tropical drinks consisted of a bottle of vodka, run and cranberry juice, all previously opened about half full. There was a small cooler with a couple of beers and waters. I felt like the Blue Marine didn't even try, they had my money and knew I wouldn't be back. On top of paying far too much money for the experience we received. One of the crew members took photos and at the end tried to sell them to us for $250. He was visibly frustrated that I didn't pay him.
