We only did the short version - 15 waterfalls as this was 1 of the part of our adventure day trip! I can only say if you enjoy active lifestyle and you need some adrenaline this is for you! Next time me and my other half would definitely go for the full 27!!! In case you feel like not jumping... More

Must be ready to dive and HIKE! It was great to experience nature in this extremely different way. We began with a difficult 5 mile hike through the forest which seemed like forever. Then we stopped for 5 mins then continued the rest. Then we started to jump into the rushing waterfalls. We were equipped with a helmet and a... More

My three friends and I were first disappointed when we learned we'd be spending 2 1/2 hours, one-way driving/sitting on seats that were very narrow and hard not to fall off of. Thank goodness we had wonderful people from other resorts to spend the long ride with, at least while they were there. We were expecting to visit, not jump... More

The 27 waterfalls was one of the highlights of our trip to the Dominican republic. If you like water, being outdoors, and seeing things beyond the resort walls, you will not be disappointed if you sign up for this trip. We did all of the 27 waterfalls in a private trip with a guide. We worked with Manwell from 27waterfalls.com... More

This is definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Some of the waterfalls felt too high for me to jump but it was great that we had the option to climb down if we didn't feel comfortable. Our tour guides were exceptional and I felt very safe with them. Definitely give this experience a go if you like a little... More

This 53 year old mom and her 15 year old son had a great time. We did 27 falls and it is not an easy trek. It's a lot of stairs and hills and it is muddy and slippery in some places. We brought waters shoes and I believe you can rent them for $2 if you don't have them.... More

AWESOME experience. However, prepare yourself for a 45-minute-straight-up-hill-hike.... They do give you breaks, but it's somewhat tough.... The push is worth it, though.... Your guides take you to this natural and beautiful place nestled among a canopy of trees. You either jump or slide down certain waterfalls. On most, you have the option of "going around" them. It truly is... More

We got a taxi from Amber Cove. Paid at the falls. Nicest people ever! It was a very adrenaline filled day! Giovanni was the best guide ever!!!! He made us feel safe and he was a blast! Be ready to take a pretty good hike to the first fall! Don't wear just water shoes, lots of rocks, hard on the... More

My wife and I took an off-ship tour of the Damajagua Waterfalls (27 waterfalls) with Iguana Mama on Feb. 7th. It was around $62 per person and we booked it via viator. There were around 16 people on the tour. It got off to a terrible start when we met them outside the cruise port (was on the Regal Princess)... More

I had seen a previous review where the Guide had pushed the people off the falls and explicitly asked not to be pushed. I even had our private tour guide translate for me. Well - you guessed it - the Falls guide pushed me from the top of one of the 5 meter falls. I was in tears from the... More
