The first time I was there, I got to see a theatre festival which was wonderful. The theatre is large and very well kept. The whole construction is very beautiful, even if it was built by Dominican Republic"s worst dictator, Trujillo. More recently, in January, there was an exhibition by a Haitian artist who passed away several years ago,
called, Sacha Tebo. The quality of his work is surely worth showing, but the hanging was not done well. All in all, however, they make a decent effort and the space is suitable for a large semi-retrospective, as is the case until March of 2013.
