As a student of geology and scuba diver of blue holes, was fascinated to explore this uplifted ancient reef. It is 230-some steps down and then a return back up, but at 75 years old, the trek was not an issue for me.

We got an amazing TAXI driver (use What's App in DR to connect with locals 849-220-5673) who took us around town and also to see these amazing cave lakes. Pay the $20 USD for the local tour guide who brings the place alive with their stories. This is great for your travelers that want a quick and meaningful stop that... More

My husband, niece and I visited this attraction as part of a day trip tour from Punta Canta to Santo Domingo. The guide took us to the tres ojos but we did not see the entire park. Had this been an unlimited time tour on our own, we would have seen as much as possible. I love to walk and... More

WE get there with not too much expectation but it is a really mind blowing place in Santo Domingo. If you like nature this is a must to do. Reminde that you will walk trough caves and humidity is quiete high. It is a experience you have to have in Santo Domingo.

These fur lakes are fformed fron the under wáter running fron Los Haitises out Samana. Called the Three Eyes because only three of them do not look at the sunlight, the fourth has direct sunlight. All of themld as well have very blue cristal wáter and very cold as well.

If you have 3-4 hours and the capacity of climbing a hundred or so stair steps you should visit this gret wonder of mother nature - and find out about the blind eye... Especially great with children.

You're probably going to have the place to yourself! Truly an urban oasis! Very close to downtown, and the Columbus lighthouse /museum /tomb.
