How can it be so humid in a cool cave so far underground? The first cave had a turtle swimming in it. The best cave was the one you had to get the raft to (25 pesos return). Great geology - limestone, stalagmites, stalactites with bats and then the most awesome vista as you approach the lake with the sun... More

A must visit when in Dominican Republic. Stunning views of caves , a hidden gem in the city of Santo Domingo. Easy to get around and inexpensive!

When the tourist guide told us he is going to take us to 3 eye national park the first thing came to my mind was another park with trees and grass and some historic moment to it. But when we entered the park and we were told to step down and explore the place for our self and then I... More

Worth the trip; wasn't really sure what to expect. Don't need a lot of time, but plan 30 to 45 minutes. Humid and lots of stairs if physical limitations. May feel a bit claustrophobic at times - easy to avoid

We went on our own and didn't have a tour guide but really didn't need one. The walk was good exercise but make sure you wear shoes with non slip soles as the steps are very slippery in places. It cost us 100.00 DR pesos (less than $2.00) to go in.

Definitely worth the short drive from the city to see. There are 4 bodies of water, although one is quite small. We took the little boat ride to the 4th, and it was the most beautiful in my opinion. We had lucky timing and pretty much at the place to ourselves which made the experience even more enjoyable! I'm glad... More

This is a lovely park with some nice paths for walking. Getting to the cenotes means a lot of steps up and down, many of which are quite steep, so I didn't attempt them. You can view the cenotes from above. There are somewhat primitive washrooms and a cantina on site as well as many areas with shade. There is... More

A pretty cheap activity that last about a hour or so. There are about 60 steep steps leading Down into the cave system. Which is the only access so if you have mobility issues I would advise against visiting. Once you've completed the steps down and peer around it's like your walked down into another world. The sounds of the... More

Nice, easy walk. Biggest cenotes I've seen. You can get down to the water pretty easily. Went with a tour group. Recommended. However, the merchants in the "exiting area" were tough to get through.
