The springs are accessed on a metalled road north east of Cabrits national park. From the turn off it is around 4.5km as you climb on a good road around the edge of a collapsed volcano. There is a parking area on the side of the road where is also a cabin housing a toilet and a small eating area.
From here there is a path and a series of steps taking you down into the crater. After about 10 minutes you reach a viewing platform where there are pools of bubbling water which due to the depth of the magma is cold. Although not particularly photogenic it is worth a visit if in the area.
