This is the cool European beach and we found it to be very overrated. The water was rough and the costs were very high.

Spent the afternoon here and enjoyed it. If you walk off to the side of the main beach, there is a rocky shore full of sea glass that we enjoyed sifting through. Loved this place

This is a fantastic beach by the Papagayo Resort. Personal service to all guests with the staff at the beach. Restaurant along the beach are great. Worth a visit for a day in Curacao.

Nice beach to stay a few days but very crowded. A few hotels/resorts offer to rent beach stuff and enjoy the day. There are facilities like restaurants

The ocean at Jan Thiel is the cleanest you can get at Banda Ariba. but what i don't like is that Zanzibar will just ignore you if u are not dutch or blonde its like your invisible to them.

If you come to this "beach" with a mindset that you are going to have a beautiful sandy beach, then this may not be the beach for you. It has man made beaches, the lounging areas ok, but this beach is more of a touristy...More

Yes you will need a day pass, not expensive at all. I from a place (BRAZIL) where beaches are free of charge and I delighted paid for it. Not that far, but I advice to rent a car once buses will not reach it. Renting a car... More
