Jan Thiel is a nice beach, you do have to pay for parking and beach chairs. Snorkling is possible, there are also Some Nice cabanas and there is a good restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Went here for a few hours on a cruise boat tour. Good facilities, though crowded in some areas. The beach is rocky, but that makes for good snorkeling in some areas. There's a large artificial pool that is good for those with kids or not...More

It is a moderately upscale part of the island without many of the all-inclusive resorts nonsense. The beaches are great and varied. The harbor at Spanish waters is nearby as are many attractions and restaurants. Having covered the island over 10 days we were quite...More

The most blue water you will ever see. It has a lot of tourists, however the water is worth it. Be sure to pack your goggles. Also, there is a restaurant there as well.

A decent beach. If you're staying on the east side of the island, this is a good place to go for a morning or afternoon. Food and drink, bathrooms, etc. are available and it's moderately scenic. If instead you're deciding between whether to visit the...More
