    Love mine
Its the bluest water. Only beach in curacao that was teal blue. Almost like turks and caicos. Negatives. Must wear swim shoes because bottom of beach is painfully rocky. It hurt. Also you need euros to use the shower.

The drive to the north is worth for a stunning swim.
One of the best beaches I have gone to in this world for its crystal clear water and not so crowded to swim in the water. I give this beach a four star because the beach does not have a concession that accepts card payment. Bring plenty of cash in ANG or USD for some booze and snacks. Two sweet things I came across on the beach are meeting a feral pig who dives its nose in bags and even in the sand and there are coral pieces you walk onto the water.

    Stunning but rough surf
So beautiful. Your eyes won't be able to compute all the stunning shades of blue in the pristine water. Everything you need chairs, palapas, snack bar and smoothie place with the most happy, friendly smoothie making family vibing to good music in their space. Not overly touristy. We came on a day when the waves were quite powerful. I would not recommend this beach for anyone under the age of 7 or over the age of 70. There are coral and rocks upon entering the water and my teens got quite a few abrasions from being thrown upon the coral by the waves. But once you are past that, the water about 4 feet out is lovely. Because of the fierce surf, we were unable to cliff dive or snorkel, but on a calm day there this might be possible. Also, if you bring snacks, watch out for the beach pig who managed to swipe and scratch down our bag of chips! lol

Really really really clear water with amazing visibility. The rock walls on either side offer great snorkeling. There are chairs and some equipment to rent. There is a small snack bar. This was some of the nicest beach water I’ve ever seen.

Beautiful beach. Water was very clear but not as calm as other beaches so perhaps not so good for very small children. We didn’t see many fish, but we were lucky enough to see a wild pig lounging on the beach! Probably best to go early in the morning or late afternoon if you want to be sure to get a lounger with shade. There’s a basic snack bar on the beach and a great juice place in the car park.

Very nice beach, easy parking in a large lot. The water is beautiful, sand is nice, the are some coral pieces around, but nothing too bad. You can rent chairs and get drinks and snacks.

Rented a car from Advance car rental - great place. They provided a pre-programmed GPS and a cell phone with their number as the first button - paid cash and picked it up in the lot just outside port. Need the GPS - a lot of roads in Curacao are un-named (GPS said “turn left at The Road”). Hit three beaches - Playa Grandi, Grote Knip, and Playa Lagun - all beautiful. Grandi had a dozen or more sea turtles swimming near the dock. Grandi was larger and lovely, and had a couple of pet pigs wandering the beach that we fed with bagels. Lagun is a tiny jewel, maybe 150 yards wide, tucked away in a cove with high cliffs on both sides. All the beaches have gorgeous clear water, no real crowds, some good snorkeling. We drove to farthest beach first, then worked back so we’d be closer to home/port at end of day. 50 minute drive back (stopping for gas) - just made it on board.

This is a stunning beach with aquamarine water, white powder sand and an impressive backdrop. We visited here on a Sunday and the beach was really busy as it’s popular with the locals and the tourists. Part of the beach was roped off at one end for a private party with music played all day so had very much of a party vibe. The drive from Willemstadt took around 40 mins, parking was easy, entrance is free and two beds and an umbrella right on the shoreline was $15. We had an amazing day here and it was just like a little slice of paradise!

Definitely a "must-visit" on any trip to Curacao.
Accessible by car or even public bus from Otrobanda (route 'Lagun Knip').
Beautiful turquoise waters, which are clear, clean and calm.
Colourful fish swimming by the rocks.
Great experience

Stunning beach! The sunbeds and parasolls are nicely stacked on the beach! This year it was three pigs on the beach as well ❤️

The most gorgeous beach you will ever see. Pictures cannot capture the stunning blue water and rugged cliffs in a way that does any justice to it's true beauty. There is a balcony area as you approach in which you can cliff jump from if you're brave! I did it and it was worth it! Beach chairs are at a small cost, and there is a snack bar. I suggest getting a coconut and a pastiche from the local woman on the balcony...delicious. There are pigs that roam around and mind their own business, looking for any leftovers. If you don't see them on the beach, try walking back to the shaded tree line, there were several laying in the shade. The water was the best swim and snorkel I had with some pretty fish and interesting coral around the cliff areas. The water gets deep very quickly here, there are some rocks and coral to negotiate but that's all part of the amazing natural shoreline. Enjoy!
