The coral reef, I believe, has all but died. I was informed that a few years ago it was quite colorful and alive. The area outside our snorkeling area might be different however. We did see, though, many types of fish which were beautiful.

Good sport for beginner snorkelers. You can rent all of your gear (including a life jacket if you want) and head out in a group if you like. The coral wasn't super vibrant (this is a heavily trafficked spot) but we saw some cool fish for sure. Good drinks at the bar.

We did a dual tour, of the Caves and coral beach. It was well worth the price, very affordable and the instructors were awesome.

When we went it was a windy day and the water was rough but the guides were very good and helpful. The snorkelling was very good! Would recommend!

We stopped here because one of our group had a Lonely Planet Guidebook. The water was clear, but there were too many people in the water and the place was not particularly well maintained, even for Cuba.

There is lots of coral but it's not very colourful. We did see quite a few fish. There was a fair amount of seaweed/kelp floating around

We rented scooters to travel to Coral Beach. We ended up at a place with a rock sign stating "Coral Beach". It is difficult to get into the water at this location. About 500 meters east is another Coral Beach that is more accessible and is set up for tourists.

Very sad to see a coral reef that is slowly dying. The only time where we seen a big plentiful amount of fish surrounding you is where the photographer gives fish food. When snorkeling around you mostly see the bleached coral with not a lot of diverse fish, never seen any star fish or any vibrant colours. It's a small... More

Very nice place for snorkeling, lots of fish to see. Not very good for somebody with bad ankles & legs, very rocky. A bit of a beach would have been nice.
