Definetely a place where you have to go and not only stop by. Enjoy the music, the rythm and the people dancing the rumba.

Not a bad place to hear some local wrappers, dances and musician alike. I lost my phone disappeared out of my pocket and as I understand this is a fairly common occurrence in la Casa De Caribe

This is really a community centre focusing on caribbean culture with an emphasis on santaria religion. Some paintins and photos, and occasional dancing to watch. Hardly worth the effort, especially as it is out of town.

It's all in the timing. If something's going on, jackpot! Otherwise, it's just a building. I was there in August of 1996, so it may have been updated. But we heard some great music one night walking by and another night we stayed and listened...More
