Nice place for people watch and more

In our last evening we were walking the streets and stumbled upon this cafe. Sat at a table, ordered a Mojito. Watched the chica that ogled all the men and in the end, left to... read more

They have the best music, local, happening, people come in off the street and dance. It is for music not eating. They are out of most everything on the menu so take what they have like a tuna fish sandwich or grilled chicken. When there were no tables we joined other tables or let them join us. Music, music, music.

I have been visiting Cuba for 27 years now. My last two-week trip involved landing in Camaguey, and after four days in that city, traveling by the Viazul bus system through Sancti Spiritu, Cienfuegos, Havana, and back to Camaguey. In all of my years going to Cuba, I have never been robbed and almost never cheated - that is, until... More

Better watch out on your bill because they add up all the time - even on small amounts. One evening when we had a bit too much fun - and they added a lot to our bill. The place is quite nice, often with really good music and a great atmosphere. Prostitutes are standing by the open windows trying to... More

It's my own fault. We didn't look at the menu, just ordered 2 espressos and were charged 3 CUC. Didn't think anything other than we'd paid 1 CUC in other places. Just went back again this evening and saw on the menu it was 1 CUC. This time I ordered a lemonade, my partner wanted a local beer. Waiter said... More

In our last evening we were walking the streets and stumbled upon this cafe. Sat at a table, ordered a Mojito. Watched the chica that ogled all the men and in the end, left to flirt with the guard, because a client this evening had not been found. The bar was completely open - large openings - "windows" without glass... More

In a day time I was there for a coffee and all was fine. In the evenings, staff tried to rip me off every time by overcharging and not so little. Very young cuban prostitutes were there trying to find company and nobody seemed to care. The bands were not special in any way and they seemed to have more... More

We had a lunch for 2. Food was nice(not the best). There was a big cockroach crawling on the table while we were eating. Salad had 2 ants... At the end they added 25% to the bill. When asked why the bill is so high they said it's a tip. When I asked why it's so much, the replied they... More
