The cathedral itself is nice, but nothing extravagant. What we liked about it was the ability to climb one of the towers - affording a good view of the city.

Very interesting cathedral. While not an expert on cathedral styles (I'm sure there's a more technical name for that), I have been in a number of cathedrals throughout the world and this one definitely had a different vibe. Rather than bore you with more uneducated words, I'll let my photos do the talking. Thanks for reading. If you found this... More

Beautiful inside and out. Must see it at different times as lighting will make it feel differently. Old Havana is wonderful and this Cathedral just puts an exclamation point on your trip.

Very interesting building. Typical of a Catholic cathedral, many side chapels of interest. Main altar very ornate. Worth a visit.

stunningly beautiful church. Usually has people inside praying so be sure to dress appropriately to avoid giving offense.

Don't pass by the architectural gem without stopping in to take in its splendor. A marvel that it still exists.

A beautiful Baroque cathedral dating from the late 1700s and built from coral. Calm and restful inside and full of treasures. Don't miss the climb to the top of the tower for great views over the city.

We stopped in for a moment while walking the streets. The architecture, stained glass and scale is breathtaking.
