Although there is not much to see here. It is nice to get across to look back towards Havana. The are a few artifacts but to be honest it was what one would expect. This is one of the many offices Che would reside in. The girls working here were very nice and friendly. History is history after all. We... More

As you look across the river from the Old Town of Havana you see the Cabana of Che Guevara on the hillside close to the magnificent statue of the Christ of Havana. A wonderful photo opportunity...

There are several museums honoring Che and the war effort and this is a well through out memorial. The statue and the park area are understandably very sacred to Cuban and many dignitaries have spoken here. Che and his "brothers and sisters" who perished with him are entombed here in a memorial. The museum houses interesting artifacts and personal items... More

Across from the statue of Christ up the hill in Casablanca is the home office of Che Guevara. It host some artifacts, artwork, and information. It's worth a visit if you're interested in all things Che.

I thought this was a good place to visit and it gave me a good idea of how instrumental Che was in the revolution. I would make sure before going that they have interpreters in your language because we had a guide that interpreted for us.

We didn't go in but we saw great views of the city from here and missiles from the crisis. It's worth the trip up. You can also have snacks and shop.

Interesting place to visit on a high elevated site about 15 minutes drive from Havana. It overlooks Havana Bay and can be seen from far away. Museum contains a lot of photos and objects from Che and The Revolution with some interesting paintings. Well worth a visit. There is a small craft/tourist market close to the museum. Great place to... More

We stopped here while we were visiting the fort but would not recommend making a special trip. The house only has a few rooms and there are a lot of items that are "just like the [chair/book/table etc] that Che would have used". There's some interesting photographs but at 6 CUC each, you can probably give it a miss!

La Cabana is an 18th Century hilltop fortress complex at the entrance to the Bay of Havana. From the top you can take excellent photos of Old Havana. The fort is extremely well preserved but rather plain. I am not particularly into forts, so for me this was a so/so experience. Best part was the cigar shop at the front... More
