Stayed mostly at the brewery with the guys while the girls went shopping next door. Sampled several hand craft beers from Cuba. Huge brewery with great views of the ocean. Spacious. The flea market was like about any you've been to. Go hang out for a couple of hours and have fun.

In this HUGE waterfront warehouse you'll find coconut milk in the coconut, guayabera shirts, bags, souvenirs, cuba hats, and art art art of all kinds. We bought a couple of great pieces here.

For some reason it doesn't show up in the Lonely Planet, but this market is very big and it's the perfect place to buy souvenirs just before you leave Cuba. Walk the market before buying, as different sellers charge different prices for the same products.

Several friends had told us to make sure we walked down here and it is well worth the visit. The huge warehouse is filled to the brim with artwork in all different styles, as well as the usual tourist type souvenirs (ceramics, leather, clothing etc). We spent a good hour wandering from artist to artist and walked away with 2... More

There was really nothing special or outstanding about this experience but if you like to see what the locals have for sale, this is the place to do it. We went here after being in Cuba for several days so the offerings were not new. The vendors are trying to make a CUC so they may call out to you... More

Many rows of stalls, however the merchandise tend to be the same. Lots of artwork paintings. A lot of leather goods (bags, sandals), and wooden goods (instruments, sculptures). Bargaining is recommended.

This was the last stop on our group tour on a hot day in June. It is a huge warehouse type building with full size train engines & cars outside. The stalls are small with a lot of merchandise - but mostly art by the locals. Unfortunately, if you browse most of the sellers are aggressive and an immediate turn... More

Skip the touristy portion that first meets you upon entrance and head straight to the left with aisles and aisles of unimagined painted masterpieces. Cash preferred, I sadly ran out of cash upon finding my favorite piece but let it be clear it is possible to easily purchased$1000s worth of art. It is so much to select from. Art lovers,... More

This was the last stop of our day-long bus tour, before re-boarding our ship. The guide called it a "flea market," for want of a better term, and it deserves a better term. Hundreds of tiny stalls, many selling the same things at the same prices, and then you arrive at the art stalls. What an incredible display of truly... More
