One of the most different architectural buildings in Havana. Beautiful granite walls and tile work. Simply stunning. A must see!

Long after the `Bacardi family were forced out of Cuba, their legacy remains in the form of this building which was once there headquarters. It is a lovely example of art deco architecture but like many things in Cuba has not been well taken care of nor used as to generate funds. It simply sits there waiting for time to... More

A beautiful building, on the edge of the Old Town. It's still used as offices but you're free to look inside at the ground floor which contains wonderful Art Deco decoration, lamps and other fittings.

If you are a fan of Deco architecture, this is a MUST SEE building, very near the Parque Central. The detail is stunning. Beware of street hustlers, however. We were accosted by people who wanted pens, scarves etc. Not pleasant. BUT, the building is worth the visit.

We have visited Havana three times since 2013. It is clear that a lot of work is underway restoring the city to its former glory. Worth walking in to the lobby to have a look.

To see the building is interesting in itself. There is a little bar on the 2nd level that really is a must to visit. It is full of photos of the guests served there from the 20's to the 50's. The view from the tower is also great.

The Bacardi building is very close to Central Park. Bacardi family used to own the building till 1960's and was the headquarters of the brand. It is a nice art deco building. If it comes in front of you while walking around you can take a few pictures.

I'd love to have seen the inside of this splendid building, but in any case it's worth a good stare from the outside. Quite why Bacardi needed such a huge building I can't imagine. What it is now, I don't know.
