Don't miss out if you're in Cuba, go swimming and for sure go snorkling here, its absolutely beautiful. Clear water, colourful fish and coral reef, and if you go to the right place there is a bar on the waters edge.

Swimming in the Bay of Pigs was amazing. The water was so clear that you did not even need snorkeling gear or goggles. The fish had such vibrant colours they were easy to see. It was hard getting into and out the water as there...More

The history and significance of BoP makes this a must see location. We swam and the water was delightful. The changing facilities were typically Cuban but hey that's Cuba. Our guide provided the background and history which was invaluable. The pool was worth a look...More

The museum at Playa Giron is worth a detour. It gives reasonable insight into the CIA led invasion thru a series of photos and decommisoned weaponry. There is a Cadeca opposite.

Worthwhile to see the quiet blue bay that was the scene of US aggression almost 60 years ago. On the highway to Cienfuegos the coastline now offers a cenote swim on the inland side at Cueva de Los Peces and a brief dip in the...More

We were a bit disappointed about this bay... it's just a regular bay, nothing special. It's not even an ideal place to hang out or to take a rest to my opinion. If you are in the area, you can stop here but I would...More
