We were staying at Divi Resort and rented a scooter to travel around the island. We ended up going to Lac Bay twice. Each time was great. The beach and water is one of a kind. The beach bar will serve you at your chairs...More

Words cannot really describe this beach which goes out about a mile like a big swimming pool 3-4 feet deep. Wind surfers look like colorful trinkets zipping by on their beginner to advances boards. We were here 14 years ago and the place is much...More

This is the place to learn how to windsurf -- windsurf Bonaire on Lac Bay north of Jive City. Incredibly nice people and skilled coaches. Go for them and the shallow, sandy, warm waters!

there's a truly laid back vibe at Lac Bay Sunday afternoons. It's right out on the northern shore of Lac Bay. Contemplate piles of conch shells while sipping an ice cold beer. Listen to the local Mariachi group croon as you feel the fool afternoon...More

Took a windsurfing lesson here, took some testing as was going pretty good after that, the wind is non stop on this side of the island which was a perfect break in the middle of our dive vacation

This side is windy but has great wind surfing if your into that and the water is shallow for along while out into the bay where the snorkeling is. The water here is very clear and not far from airport. If you don't have a...More

Do yourself a favor and go to Lac Bay for an amazing sunset. A quick 15 minute drive from downtown that will leave you in awe.

You will be stunned how far you can walk out into the water and it never gets more than waist deep and is clear. There is a reef that keeps waves from coming in. It is really a 20 minute walk from the beach to...More

There was a "dispatcher" at the cruise terminal who gave us good information about going to Lac Bay - he correctly told us that we need to go to Sorobon Beach to access the protected and shallow part of Lac Bay. We took a cab...More
