A cozy little hamlet on a pristine water bay. Great to bring the kids for a swim since water is fairly shallow. However, there is no facility for convenience so treat it like a picnic! One more thing, Can be windy at times.

We rented a golf cart and toured the south part of the island. We drove in and saw this area. Lots of people there and food vendors. Nice to say we saw it but not impressed at all. It was a bit tacky. But lots...More

Although it is a hike to the reef (via water) if you enjoy shallow snorkeling this is a great spot. It takes time to get there but we were so close to the fish due the shallow water it was absolutely worth it. Afterwards we...More

Fun place to get your feet wet and sand between the toes. Great windsurfing and great laughs. Cheers, Sharky

We were here 6 years ago, still an amazing place for a drink and some great food. Sitting on the beach, watching the wind surfers.

This is the most hospitable place to learn and perfect windsurfing skills. Lac Bay is shallow, with a sandy bottom (no watershoes needed), and there are no rocks or obstacles to boarders. The toughest issue is staying out of the equatorial sun! Be sure to...More

We spent a week in Bonaire and windsurfed most of the time! This is the best place to windsurf anywhere! The advantage is the water is waste deep 100% of our sailing. The wind blows onshore so if you want to rest, you can drift...More

This is a great beach for kids, sand and enough shallow water. Also great for adults, so clear and really warm. You can walk out quite along way before it gets too deep. Lots of people, bar and food, we had a ham and cheese...More

Stop by Lac Bay to watch the windsurfers or go for the day and try it. Lovely, though stark, sites along this coast.

The beach by the airport has really good snorkelling. It is easy to enter the water because it is a sand beach. There is also a food truck right there in the car park where they have great food.
