Gone Diving's mission is to give you the experience of an unique and unforgettable dive on Bonaire. For us diving is our passion and we love to share this with you!
According to your wishes we will make a dive plan together with you. We offer guided dives to all the sites of shore diving on Bonaire. And preferably at the more adventurous shore dive sites, like Cai, Lighthouse, Red Slave, La Dania’s Leap, Candyland, Tailor Made, the East Coast and many more “off the beaten track” dive sites.

On the recommendation of the lovely people Mariët & Ton of the super stay; Casa Mantana Bonaire, I got to know Eric de Vries. Eric is the owner of Gone Divin, a great PADI Master Instructor and of course a cool dive buddy. Also outside the dives, a wonderful guy! With Eric 6 wonderful dives are allowed, including shore diving, boat diving and an unforgettable Ostracod night dive (just look up)! Eric is attentive to people and nature, is a great guide underwater, but never loses sight of safety. As Eric says so beautifully; be aware that you are a guest underwater. Respect nature and your (buddy’s) safety. As far as I'm concerned, Eric is worth an 11 on a scale of 10. Bucketlist challenge; learn to dive on Bonaire.
On the recommendation of Casa Mantana, incidentally a prime location with very good and sweet owners, contacted Eric (with a C 😉) from Gone Diving and the Padi open water course planned (Gonedivingbonaire.com).
As exciting as it was for me, Eric stayed calm and helped me through it. A top instructor, super calm, nice and has safety first! Even after his years of experience, he remains with us, we are guests underwater. Eric is highly recommended in the field of diving!

Eric is one of the best guides/instructors on the island. He is quiet, has patience with angels and really knows his trade. Every dive with him is a party. We got our Open Water from him but now 50 dives later we do another dive with him every holiday. This time it was the East Coast's turn. What a great day. Eric knows his way around here and you can feel the passion for the East Coast with him. We can only recommend going diving with him.

Eric was our instructor during a diving trip in October 2023. In December 2024 we were back on the island and had a wonderful time diving with him again. What a relaxed man! He lives and breathes Bonaire. Not only is he super chill and fun, he also really knows what he is doing and is truly one of the best divers I know. He knows all the dive sites of Bonaire and has specialized in diving on the east coast of the island. If you are looking for an instructor or a guide for day trips, he is your man! It was my first time in Bonaire and i had a great time diving with Eric as a guide. He is very experienced, suggested a great diving spot for us and knows a lot about the local fish and coral. I highly recommend Gone Diving.

If you're diving in Bonaire, Gone Diving Bonaire is a must! I came to the island with my Open Water certification but wanted to push my skills further. I did the Advanced Open Water course with Eric, who was a knowledgeable and patient instructor. His guidance made a real difference, and I felt confident with each new dive. The experience was so good that I followed it up with a Wreck Diving Specialty course! Learning how to navigate and penetrate wrecks safely was a highlight of my trip. Eric's expertise, passion for diving, and affordable pricing make him an excellent choice for divers of any level. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience diving with Eric from Gone Diving. He’s an experienced and passionate guide who clearly respects Bonaire’s diving sites and nature. Our dive at ‘The Lake’ was both enjoyable and safe, with Eric ensuring everyone’s well-being throughout. He was recommended to us by Casa Montana, and we’re glad we took their advice. The only downside was not having the chance to do more dives with Eric. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a knowledgeable and caring dive guide.

I have now been able to make some guided dives with Eric and I can only say how nice that is. Eric is very accessible, makes you feel comfortable and makes you feel safe, making you enjoy a swim all the more.
