Overview
More
The Bowalie is a luxurious and comfortable cabin sail boat. It's a 12,40m Gibsea 402 Master. This gorgeous sail boat was built by Gibert Marine. The boat's fast, very well equipped and fitted with many conveniences. There's a swimming deck with stairs at the back of the boat so you can easily get back on board again after a refreshing dive. Use the freshwater shower at the back to have a nice shower down. Of course there is a toilet on board and a place for you to change behind locked doors and to store your belongings. A true sailing boat for you to enjoy The Bowalie is well known for top class sailing. It's not without reason that the Bowalie has a track record of two years as winner of the International Bonaire Sailing Regatta in 2010 & 2011, third place in 2012 and second place in Racing Class in 2013. In 2013, the boat has been out of the water for a great overhaul and we are proud to present Bowalie back in the water as a state of the art sailing vessel. Brand new copper based anti fowling, new sails, new paint job, freshly polished deck and many new features. Bowalie is reborn and as new again.

We were picked up on the quay from our cruise ship and take in a minibus the short distance to a delightful small marina where we boarded Bowalie. We then started our three hour cruise on this good sized 12 metre yacht. We first went...More

We booked this through our cruise line and it was a terrific day sailing. There were 8 of us plus 2 crew on board. The crew were friendly and informative. The sailing was so fun! Actual sailing--not like what you get on a catamaran. We...More

Booked this tour through the cruise line. It was advertised as a VIP tour on a ~40' sailboat. We sailed with three other couples plus the captain and first mate. Sailed about 45 minutes down the Bonaire coast then anchored to do about an hour...More

We love sailing on the Bowalie! We have done the two hour sunset sail three years in a row and each time was wonderful. Walter and Liezeth are expert sailors and charming hosts. They only take maximum 8 passengers which makes for a very enjoyable...More

This was a great way to travel to a coral reef to snorkel. This was my first time sailing and found it very enjoyable. The crew was skillful and made sure that we had a good time. I would do this excursion again.

If you get a chance to go to Bonaire, be sure to look up these wonderful folks who have a couple of fabulous sailboats. Fewer guests on board increases the quality, and the owner and Captain were warm, full of interesting information, efficient and endearing....More
