beautiful beach

We stayed at the Crane and were fortunate to enjoy this lovely beach everyday of our stay! Rough waves, though, as others have said; so be alert.

This is my favorite beach on Barbados. The beach has very soft sand, no rocks and the scenery is beautiful. I am a strong swimmer whom loves the ocean, this beach is ideal for people who like waves, body surfing, and boogie boarding. You don't see very many young children here. You can rent 2 lounge chairs and a market... More

Crane Beach is beautiful. Period. It is a challenging beach for any real beach activity- especially swimming. But for watching big, conflicted waves and jumping into their aftermath it is wonderful. Be careful all the time because it is a breezy place. If you want lie back and listen to the wind and the waves on powdery soft sand then... More

We rented a car at the cruise ship terminal and after getting lost a few times finally made it to one of our three destinations, Crane Beach. The parking is on a one way road that leads down to the beach with no space to turn around, so you park along the left side of the road and will have... More

I can never get enough of this beach! I will travel for hours just to see it in person once again. I am addicted to it! I love that they cut open coconuts and make rum drinks right on the beach for you! My drink was called a Rihanna! go figure! This is my favorite beach so far!

Visited on a sunday after lunch at Cutters. What a beautiful beach. We drove down the lane, beware you have to reverse back up as there is no turning point, the view off the rock is brautiful the sea was a stunning turquoise the day we visited and the waves were crashing in, take the stepping stones across to a... We stayed at the Crane for a fortnight and must have used the beach on most mornings. What we liked about it was: * the sunbeds, umbrellas and towels were readily available and free * the sand was pristine and the water clear. Walking along the surfline was lovely * the waves crash in (its the Atlantic) They sound big... More

I read on tripadvisor and other sites that we could get a day pass to the Crane for $25 for two people including lunch. When we arrived, we were told day passes have been "suspended." We were not allowed on the property. We had to walk down a rocky path with wooden planks to get to a part of the... More
