If this beach and cliff area was not affected by the seaweed, it would truly be one of the best beaches in Barbados. It's such a landmark. Hopefully, Mother Nature will be a little more kind and this shall pass soon.

Absolutely awful due to the insane seaweed problem. The entire beach is essentially unusable as the water is packed deep with it from shore to about 1/2km out) and the entire shore of the beach is under about more than a foot of rotting seaweed.

The title of the review says it all. On our visit in April it looked dirty, inhabitable, abundant by sargassum seaweed. Sorry, but it is what it is.

About half an hour by car or a couple of hours by bus with transfers and such. if you don't have a car you are probably better off arranging for a taxi with your hotel.
