Despite what some reviewers have said, Crane Beach is not a private beach, in fact there is no such thing as a private beach in Barbados. Public access is via a small track at the eastern end of the beach, and then a path which...More

Lovely beach with secluded areas. It's located off the beaten track and has lovely photo opportunities. Carry a pack lunch and you can spend the whole day.

Crane beach is lovely, but the sea is wild as it is on the Atlantic side of the island. The beach is quite difficult to access across stepping stones and rock.

We did not stay at the resort over this beautiful location, only parked on a side entrance and enjoyed the amazing beach on two separate occasions. It is very picturesque, with a fun tide that has just the right amount of waves to body board...More

About half an hour by car or a couple of hours by bus with transfers and such. if you don't have a car you are probably better off arranging for a taxi with your hotel.

Yes, there will most likely be chairs available. There are guys who bring lounge chairs and rent them out so there should be plenty available. Also, I suggest you order lunch from Cutters. They will deliver to the Crane... More
