Gorgeous beach, but best for sunbathing, body surfing or boogie boarding. Ocean is quite rough unless you a strong swimmer. Onsite boogie board, chair and umbrella rentals, etc.

The waves are big and strong, good for body surfing, not for young kids - unless you keep them at water's edge. Sand is super soft. Chair get spiked early!

Pink sand beautiful views, great surf and fun to watch the kids jump into the ocean from the rock on the cliff.

Powdery white sand and wonderful wind to keep things cool. Ideal for active enjoyment of the surf, but not for swimming.

We stayed at The Crane and enjoyed the beach at every opportunity. It's waves are strong and sometimes quite big as well but if you get pass the 'breaker' (where the waves start forming) the water is much calmer and isn't that deep. Further out...More

Great for diving, walking about and chilling. But not my favourite beach to swim in: Waters are not calm.

Very nice Beach and lots of chairs. The water was always aggressive and had to be very causes when enter.

About half an hour by car or a couple of hours by bus with transfers and such. if you don't have a car you are probably better off arranging for a taxi with your hotel.

Yes, there will most likely be chairs available. There are guys who bring lounge chairs and rent them out so there should be plenty available. Also, I suggest you order lunch from Cutters. They will deliver to the Crane... More
