Stayed at Barbados Breezy Villa. It's a spacious 2 bedroom bungalow. Have to walk up stairs to get to the bedrooms, so not so great if you have problems with stairs, but the beds are very comfortable and each bedroom had its own bathroom. Liked that I could walk to Brighton beach, supermarket that serves hot food was nearby as... More

Like all beaches in Barbados, this is the perfect match of sun, sea and white sand. Every beach there has it's own spirit.

Quick to get to from Cruise Ship terminal, only $5.00 cab ride. Mount Gay Rum close by within walking distance & well worth the stop for tasting

We rented an apartment from sandbox apartments on N. Brighton Road. The beach is virtually all our own with sift sand and NO ROCKS!!!! Great patio and quiet neighborhood. We will be back!!!!

Another beautiful beach in Barbados. OK it is spoilt by the industry but it didn't bother me. And I am the type that always buys organic where available and eats clean. The water is just so clear and calm. Also at night you can see the glowing plankton!

We (3 generations age 5-69) stayed at Lyriston just 100 yards from the sand beach. The area is safe friendly and good for swimming. Exploring towards Brandon's beach we could find shallow sandy areas and coral outcrops. The other direction takes you to the hot spot - sulphurous outlet from the power station, which is popular with some locals. .... More

Another clean and beautiful beach in Barbados. It's not as easily accessible by public transportation as some others beaches. The water here is relatively calm as well and this beach is not one that is usually excessively crowded. So if you want a nice quiet beach to enjoy the sand, sun and sea, this is one of your choices.
