This is an area along the roadway passing the Abbey heading to the East side of the Island. It is quite beautiful, and from the top of the hill you can catch some amazing island and ocean views. If you stop for a photo opportunity, watch carefully for oncoming traffic, especially off-islanders.

Nice view of Atlantic on top. We took a car so was not particularly interesting but was on the way to the north.

However it would be very interesting for hikers and those who like tourist trains (specially good for young family).

We did have some car fun though…..just before arriving at the top ….at the famous Gravity Hill/Magnetic Hill, at one point of going down slope, the driver put on neutral gear at the bottom of this small slope but the car automatically went back uphill by itself!!! We only saw this once in New Zealand!! Secret for you to find out yourself!!! I am not telling you more!

This location provides an excellent opportunity for photos overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. We also bought a few diviners from the local vendors.

I visited here with some friends and a few locals. It is a truly picturesque hike; rolling hills, lovely vegetation, monkeys in the trail, an old fashioned train tour and a view of the seaside which is breathtaking. If you're a nature buff, you certainly want to do this one when you visit Barbados!

Lovely views of the Atlantic from here, surrounded by farm fields and forests. There’s also an ancient working (sometimes) windmill there that is (sometimes) open.

Gorgeous views over the island and coast. Road a little rough and steep, but wasn’t a problem. Not much traffic about. There are vendors at the viewing point but they are not pushy

Great view and photo stop. Depending on where your coming from the road from the east side is a bit rough and in need of resurfacing but from St Nicholas abbey side not too bad. There are street stalls there but they are not pushy.
Worth a look if visiting the Abbey or exploring the island.

You can access Cherry Hill via road or as we did on the St Nicholas Abbey Heritage Railway which turns round here and stays c 15/20 minutes. This is plenty of time to admire the fantastic views of the east coast and take fotos.

There is parking by the side of the road and of course the usual 'street' vendors/pedlars who imho detract from the scene/ambience. It is well worth visiting for the stunning views but around 30 minutes should suffice

A few street vendors in the area...nice view from the area. Not much else. Distillery up the road, but was closed during this visit.
