I have made several visits to Masterworks, usually going every time I stay in Bermuda. This time, I went specifically to see the newly acquired Bruce Stuart paintings. I was not disappointed. I am a fan of his earlier detailed paintings of Bermuda properties. Moving through the museum I enjoyed the Hail to the Queen exhibit, featuring the old Bermuda... More

Without exception I visit Masterworks every trip home as I am usually working abroad and the setting is ideal - in the Botanical Gardens so parking is never an issue. With each visit there's something more.... a full service cafe with good coffees and home made fare allow the browser to come in the morning, eat lunch and continue the... More

This is a significant collection and also very appealing to all age groups. It offers both the Bermudian and the tourist a fulfilling experience without being too skewed to one or the other.

This place is kind of a secret treasure. We got a personal tour with the director, Tom B. He spent time, and there are some wonderful pieces, but the key is to see the ENTIRE collection, and you must ask to do so. Also. make sure Tom will be available when you get there. The collection is extensive and wonderful,... More

Located within the Botanical Gardens, this site is just not worth the time and effort it takes to get there. The Masterworks Museum features mostly local artists. There is one very minor work by Georgia O'Keefe-a pencil sketch of a tree bark. The Winslow Homer painting was not on display.

Dear Guest, We are sorry to hear that you had a less than pleasant experience at our establishment and appreciate an honest feedback, but believe you may have been misinformed about our collection. You must visit the Botanical Gardens and this beautiful museum. It features many of Bermuda's fine artists as well as artists who were inspired by Bermuda's beauty while visiting the island. The museum was very enjoyable to take in - a good healthy hike from Hamilton to the Botanical Gardens brought us to the Museum as an afterthought.
