Positive Review! I went on the Reef Explorer Glass Bottom Boat with a visiting family member and my two daughters on Saturday. We had an amazing time! Captain Michael Gladwin (who finished school at 18 years old, stepped into this profession, and has been doing it for over 30 years) does an exceptional job of making everyone feel at home,... More

I've been on several boat tours in Bermuda, having been living here for four months and this is by far and away the best I've experienced. Knowledgeable and friendly crew taught us so much about the island, conservation and local residents. As we travelled out to Nine Beaches, we stopped for some fantastic turtle-spotting and then continued on to the... More

We took the ferry when we exited the cruise. We were walking by not sure yet what we were doing. Our family saw the captain standing outside the boat. We decided to go on. It was the best decision our family made for our vacation. We had the best time. We went and seen tons of fish and turtles. We... More

We went off season (end of April) so we had a limited choice- well not much of a choice, either glass bottom tour or no, lol. They have 3 packages. I'm reviewing the glass bottom only tour. This is a pleasant, family/child friendly experience where you'll see some lovely coastlines and reefs/fish through the glass bottom with commentary about the... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, unfortunately the water temperatures are a little to cool in April for us to offer much in the way of activities in the water, should you ever visit again we would love to have you join us on one of our snorkeling excursions. More

My boyfriend and I took a trip on the reef explorer on April 22 and we were very happy with the experience. Captains Mike and Mark were genuinely passionate about their jobs and love for Bermuda and its natural beauty. The outing itself took us on a tour from the Hamilton harbour through the Great Sound and out toward the... More

I found the reef and fish rather interesting but there's also a trip to a 'wreck' - this part was not so good as there really not much to see that was below water. Also, don't expect good photos from the glass bottom as it's not the cleanest glass in the world, even without a camera the view was rather... More

Ron and I particularly loved "Feeding the fish" The boat captain and crew had loaves of bread as we were leaving the reef. You could tell the fish were expecting "lunch". It was a wonderful adventure and when we are back in Bermuda, we will go again!

We were traveling on the Norwegian Dawn cruise ship, but chose to book this excursion instead of the one on the ship. The tour seemed to be mostly identical to the ship's snorkeling excursion, but was much less expensive. We were out with Captains Mike and Mark and they were both fabulous. You can tell they absolutely love what they... More

Very enthusiastic people running the boat. The glass bottom works excellent and it is a nice trip. Snorkeling was fun too with a lot to see.

Captain Mike is knowledgeable about area, helpful with questions about current history of Bermuda, where and what to do or eat on the Island based on what you like. He takes an interest in you. He helped with my wife's first snorkel trip and she loved it! This is a good trip for couples and for families. We saw 32... More
