Very poor customer service. Our planned tour as part of a special Bermuda visit was cancelled by email at less than 24 hours notice with very little by way of reasonable explanation "captain says tomorrow is not suitable"!
This despite an excellent week's weather including the day booked, lots of sightings of pods close to shore & many other tours operating.

To answer another review - I can understand how if you’re traveling with a rambunctious toddler this might be a let-down, as most of the museum is reading information and there’s little hands-on. That said, this was FASCINATING for both my ten year old and myself, and we spent a solid three hours there learning. What a pleasant surprise!

Nice museum with lots of exhibits. Sections on the various shipwrecks around Bermuda and recovered treasure was interesting and informative. We recommend!

Great place about marine history of island and theories of Bermuda Triangle. Perfect for families and teens. Has many artifacts from ship wrecks, tons of shells, lots of interactive displays. Down several blocks from ferry dock, yellow one story building

Loved this aquarium and zoo. It is a bit more unique than other zoos and we only had an hour. I would love to have had more time. The presentation of the animals is well done.

This is a great spot to learn about underwater exploration, with exhibits focused on shells, wrecks, treasure, etc. Our family of four (2 adults, and 2 kids under 10) all enjoyed our time at BUEI, and would definitely recommend visiting if you are in Hamilton.

Note that there is also a restaurant located on site, but it was not what we were expecting - we sat down for lunch, expecting a little more of a 'family friendly' menu than what we were handed given that it is attached to an attraction that draws a lot of younger children. We ended up going elsewhere to eat - not a knock at all on the restaurant itself, it has a great water-side dining area and I'm sure the food was great, it was just not what we were looking for / expecting.

The location is on the water with limited parking but lots of restaurants near by.
Most of us really enjoyed the experience but our 5- year old grandson was frightened with the simulation of going underwater and my wife felt claustrophobic. Fortunately, there was a door to exit.
Nevertheless, the rest of us liked the exhibit.

The museum is interesting. Lots of information. Many electronic 'gadgets' do not work. Shell room is beautiful. It's worth an hour or two.
