This is now a typical tourist town. Before it had some charm and now it has changed to survive. It does have some of the old favorite stores. Now, all very expensive. You used to shop for china, perfume and jewelry. Now there are plenty of nice shops, don't get me wrong, but there are now plenty of souvenir shops... More

Could spend ages just wandering along the big variety of shops, bars, and restaurants. Bustling and lively with lots to see and do.

Front Street is the "main street" of Bermuda. The cruise ships are docked here, some for three days. There are a lot of high end shopping establishments. You can get your t-shirts and souvenirs on Front Street. On Wednesday in May there was a street festival with music and vendors. I don't know if this event is all summer long,... More

Front Street is the main street in Hamilton, the capital of Bermuda, but in reality, it's the Main Street of Bermuda. It's bounded on one side by the picturesque harbor and sometimes by docked cruise ships and on the other by a plethora of shops and restaurants. It's a must see for all visitors. But don't stop there, keep exploring... More

Nice boutiques, elite shops, souvenir shops, and places to eat at every level. Don't forget the side streets. There are some hidden wonders above the main street and thru the alleys.

I've been going to Bermuda and Hamilton for over 20 years. Hamilton is really the mecca of reinsurance companies. I think it's lost its colonial feel. Shopping is OK, and some fine restaurants. Wednesday night is the harbor festival; that's the best time to go.

The downtown of Bermuda, plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, clubs and hotels. I recommend Bermuda Bistro at the Beach ( commonly referred to as "The Beach")

It was most unfortunate that it rained on the day when we decided to visit Hamilton, and so we saw Front Street while getting soaking wet. That said, we could imagine the pleasures on a sunny day, what with the harbour just across from the shops. Those same shops made for a nice break from the weather, and we did... More

This was the first one of the 2016 tourist season, some confusion but it was fun. Prices seemed to be high compared to the dockyard shops

Do you shopping between 10 am and 5 pm to ensure the stores are open. the area has great restaurants that are open later so it's great for dinner after shopping. great views from the balconies of some restaurants.
