Located at the southern part of Aruba, it does take time to get to if you are not going in a tour. We rented a car and drove to see it. It is a beautiful monument with a great backdrop of the sea behind it....More

Serves as a memory for all of the seamen. It's a picture spot and that's about it. If you are on your way to Baby Beach, you can't miss it. Nothing to see but this so it's a 1-2-3 gig if you even want to...More

No disrespect intended for the memorial behind the anchor. That said, there's not really much here other than a photo op. Take a quick picture or two, read the plaque, and on your way.

This anchor on the point was a huge fun icon to stop and take pictures at and the overlook was so pretty

This is a great photo spot near baby beach. It also prompted me to do a history search of this memorial.

Spotted this on the route from Baby beach. Drove off road, took pictures and headed back toward the resort. Took all of 2 to 3 minutes. Drive or I'm sure you will have to wait with other tourists.

On our way to baby beach you will pass this, you have to stop! Its great for family pictures with an amazing view. Also if you're lucky there will be some donkeys hanging around the area.

Stopped to help a couple make photos of themselves and they reciprocated. Setting is stunning. Drove north towards the Wind Farm and had to wait for a herd of a dozen wild donkeys to cross the road (all the while mooching from tourists). They blend...More

When ever you drive by this giant red anchor tourists seem to be climbing, hanging or posed in front of this place. To the left of this anchor is a great beach to watch kite surfing in the evening after 5 pm. During the morning...More

The red anchor commemorates everyone lost at sea. It's tough to miss if your heading to the far south and east side of the island.
