Arashi Beach was much more natural and scenic versus Eagle Beach (at the Holiday Inn). Even had a little surf at the far end for body surfing.

Do not come here when cruise ships are in town! We were swarmed by people from the ships. We found some shade under a tree, and we didn't mind sharing but the people just kept coming! By the time the 12th person (not joking) tried to squeeze in their towels under the tree with us, we left and headed to... More

A small beautiful beach far away from the crowded beaches that surround major chain hotels. Will definitely return.

This beach offers great views, sandy bottom, and a lengthy walk out into the ocean. There are spots to snorkel, or sit on the sandy beach and read.

Akashi is nice, but, it has been found by everyone,so, can be a bit noisy compared to other spots. There are people renting chairs and umbrellas and the prices are fair.

We walked along the shoreline from the Ritz Carlton to the California Lighthouse and back. It was fantastic. Along the way there are spots ti try a little Kite Boarding with Armando...tell him Gary and Div say hello. Along the trek you see such a different part of the island. Many great places to get in the water and snorkel... More

Arashi Beach is gorgeous! White sand, clear water (with a sandy bottom!), as well as places for body surfing, body boarding, and even surfing. We were renting a house on Malmok beach (about a 5min walk from Arashi) and made a point to visit all of the beaches in the area: Eagle beach, Palm beach, and Arashi. While all gorgeous,... More

Arashi Beach is absolutely beautiful, plenty of beach huts for shade, soft sand, crystal clear on flat days, and shallow out to 50 feet or so. Great for couples and families alike! There are reef rocks along either side of the shallows for snorkeling. If you like surfing, there is a small break here called "rancho" that the locals will... More

Clean. Food nearby. White Sands. Clear Water. What else could you ask for on The Happy Island? Worthwhile, good for all ages, would go back here again on another visit.

Our tour group included seeing the California lighthouse and a meal at Faro Blanco. You can walk down to the beach from Faro Blanco. On our cruise, this beach was definitely one of my favorites. Relaxing, beautiful beach.
