It's not mind-blowing snorkeling, but it is easy to show up with snorkeling gear via taxi, spend an hour, and leave. It's a fine alternative if you are leery about killing a half-day of beach time with a larger charter. Be careful of the rocks as you wade in.

Malmok is a fairly tiny beach area in front of many of the nicer homes in Aruba. There is nothing here in the way of vendors, food or facilities but it's a good location to get in the water and explore. With the right conditions, it's a good stop for some snorkeling but is fairly rocky so take care while... More

Best to go on a light wind day when the water is calm clearer. Can take the public bus there. The snorle tour boats go there. Very safe.

One of the best scuba diving locations on Aruba, and the best part is that it's accessible without booking a boat tour. Just park your car, put on your gear and jump in. Beautiful sunsets are a nice bonus too! This is a guaranteed stop of all the catamaran/boat tours, a sure sign that there's plenty to see underwater right... More

This was one of two spots that we were able to visit during our sunset cruise. The waters were clear and calm which made for a very enjoyable snorkeling experience.

This is a very small beach with some sand and a lot of rocks and boulders. The day we were there the water looked filthy in some places due to the rotting seaweed...

We went on a day when the low tide was around noon, so it was easy to get in and out of the water. However, I was not impressed with the snorkeling. Maybe that was because we had just been in Bonaire for a month where we had beautiful snorkeling. Yes, we saw fish at Malmok, but nothing very colorful... More

A great spot for snorkeling. We noticed that the snorkeling boat excursions stop here and figured we'd try it out since we came with our own equipment. It's like jumping in a full fish bowl! Not really a beach there or facilities but the snorkeling was excellent. A bit rocky when you get in but plenty to see.

Go snorkeling around 8:30am (before the the tour ships arrive) and you will see amazing fish prior to everyone swarming the area. You can have a taxi drop you off and call a taxi to pick you up when you are done. Lovely snorkeling by walking right into the water.

This is a great snorkeling area for beginners. It's a pretty rocky beach, but it has a reef. We had to share the reef with a lot of people from a tour boat. But it was a good place to see fish.
