Saint Franciscus Church

We got to see this church as part of our UTV tour. It sits in a remote section of the island with beach front views all around. A very well kept and actively used church.

Every time we go to this church my wife walks the labyrinth located in the yard behind the church. It is a great place for reflection and solace. You are welcome to enter and attend any service but please be respectful, leave the camera's outside and do not photograph anyone other than the people you are with. I love this... More

Don't get me wrong, cutest little church ever, but unless you're a historian or really into the island's history, or very religious, it's really not much to see. There's vendors outside the church selling souvenirs and $1 watermelon slices. That's all, folks.

The church is very old and full of history and is an absolute must see for any history buff. I recommend an hour or so to really hear about the history and take pictures.

Sweet, small church nice to visit during a UTV drive (for example). There's not too much to do on the island so take in the sites and enjoy! Not much in this church but it's cute to see.

Very crowded with tour busses... it is a nice little stop. Liked the stations of the cross on the road to the chapel.

Saint Francis is a rebuilt chapel at the top of a mountain that maintains its historical architecture. It offers a great view of the island. No restaurants or restrooms available. A good sightseeing if you want to drive through the island.

We stopped here when we did the UTV tour! A lot of history there! They have vendors outside selling their wares and you can go in to look around. I didn't get the chance we were only there for a short stop!

Great little gem to visit. Must see once to see true history in Aruba. Took the ABC UTV tour here and did not regret the stop.
