This is a great beach and not too touristy. Make sure you take something to site on as there are not sun beds to hire. There are two places to eat.

There are only two beaches around English Harbour and of the two we definitely prefer Pigeon Point Beach on Falmouth Bay to Galleon Beach on Freeman's Bay. The first one is less built up, there is more shade available from trees and the beach has...More

Great if you like that sort of thing. Note there are lots of shady spots provided by trees but be careful as some of the trees have toxic sap - these are labelled. There are also man-made shelters which can be used, or shared, with...More

This was our local beach as we were staying in English Harbour (15 minutes walk) There are no sunbeds, but plenty of trees to find shade and beautiful sea to swim in.

Very nice clean beach with built in shade trees. There is a place to buy food and drinks. Just a short walk from Nelson’s Dockyard.

This is one of many stunning beaches on the island and offers clear warm water and a clean sandy beach. A great place to chill out for a while before heading back to the cruise ship.

My second favourite beach in Antigua. White narrow beach close to trees where you can easily unroll a towel. Water is clear turquoise and delightful for a swim.

Love this beach because the swimming is wonderful, you get to watch the ships come and go, lots of shade and it’s public which I like. Also is never super busy.

This was by far one of the busiest beaches we went too. Lots of party boats and tourists drinking and enjoying the sun. Not really our vibe but we did stay for 1 hour away.

Love this beach! A bit busy during high season but great low level water to float around in. Can even get a massage on the beach as a lady has a table set up with curtains for a bit of privacy. Very nice!

There are no commercial assets available at this beach. There are pic-nic tables and built in shade.... that is all!

There is more than one route. If you are fit and brave, there is an 'over the top' walk that is quite high and involves a bit of scrambling and some rough terrain. This is about a mile. The road walk is about half an hour... More
