If you like music, dancing and sunsets this is for you. We got a taxi from the hotel then paid the entrance fee. It’s not too expensive. We drank lots of rum, watched the sunset whilst listening to the steel band. In darkness it comes...More

Everyone should do it. Though it is a small touristy area to visit. Don't need many hours. For a family, 2 hours tops. Evening bands are fun but the drinks are flowing and pretty loud. Worth seeing the sunset though.

Visited Shirley Hights several times and every time is a delight. This has to be the best view point on Antigua. Sunday nights are always busy and atmospheric with steel bands and barbecue being the main attractions. Don't miss the best sunsets from here.

We hired a driver to show us around. It was $200 USD for the entire day which we split amongst three of us. It was the best way to tour as the driver stopped for us to beach it and snorkle and he also took us to a local... More

We visited during the day and for the Sunday evening barbeque. The gift shop was open both times, but there were far more vendors Sunday evening. Sorry, but we missed seeing the museum.
