We wanted to find out a little more of the history of Antigua, not just what is shown at the usual tourist sites. Had to ask the locals how to find the place but found it eventually. A well laid out museum with the timeline history well shown. I wanted to find out more about the sugar cane railways and... More

Interesting museum that packs a lot into a small space. Gives all the information on how Antigua evolved right up to a statue and information on Sir Viv Richards, cricketing icon.

Wonderful little museum with lots of information and continuing to make new exhibits. We spent about 1.5 hours here and read everything in the museum. Wonderful information about the history of the island, wildlife and ecosystems, as well as Barbuda.

This was one of the best local museum we came across in the Caribbean, the displays were well presented, well curated and very explanatory of the island's history and culture. And the staff were also very helpful when it came to directing us to local sources of refreshment. A surprisingly godd visit - and free, too!

Nice museum, that does tell you about the local history and so you do get a flavour for the History of Antigua, sadly it is a bit run down like the whole island is, it could do with some TLC, and refurbishment again like the whole island sadly.

Small museum about three from the entrance of the cruise port, it is a small museum but does have artifacts from the local area, and also history. The price is $3.00 (US) for entrance, and will probably take 15 – 20 minutes to look and see everything.
