Lovely walk around the lake. Nice to sit on one of the benches and watch the wildlife. Good children’s play area and a nice cafe on site too.

Children love the play area, park, very safe, and they also enjoy feeding the ducks and swans. Nice flat walk around the lake, plenty of parking. Cafe open in the summer, otherwise weekends. Lots of friendly, chatty people.

Perfect place to take your children, play areas and boating facilities for all ages. Also great for peaceful walks around the lake.

We very often go for a stroll here if we want to stretch our legs and get some fresh air. Lovely lake with birds and swans on. Fishermen are usually seen around the lake.

Go to the boating lake nearly everyday on my walks. I like to see local people and also look at the wildlife. During the summer the shop is open every day so a nice cuppa or an icecream is very welcome after a long walk.

I've been visiting the boating lake since I was a small child. The park has always been well maintained. The lake is always changing and I love the fact I can still visit 30 years after my first time but now with my children.

The rowing boats on the main lake would need a teenager or adult to row but you see children all ages in them. On the small pond area the boats operate with pedals which turn the rudder, I think only 3 can fit in these. I... More
