Children love the play area, park, very safe, and they also enjoy feeding the ducks and swans. Nice flat walk around the lake, plenty of parking. Cafe open in the summer, otherwise weekends. Lots of friendly, chatty people.

The rowing boats on the main lake would need a teenager or adult to row but you see children all ages in them. I have seen one adult in those with one or two children again all ages but I have seen children on their own operating them aged approx 7 upwards
