A short train trip & a cable car was well worth the effort. A venue where some paragliding is also done. A lady on her way to the top with us had her small portable paragliding kit with her ready for her jump. The views...More

We took the S4 train to the Adliswil stop to take the aerial tramway to Felsenegg. The walk to the tram is about 10-15 min from the station and while a little hilly, should not be a problem for people who are in shape. I...More

Much quieter than going to Uetliberg. Took a train to Adliswil, walked up (quite steep) to the cable car. 3 min journey up, great views of the lake and Alps and hardly anyone there. All free on the Zurichcard. Didn't stop for drinks/food as had...More

We traveled from Geneva via train to Zurich, met friends who had traveled from the U.S. and had a fabulous day touring Zurich only to be topped off by the cable car ride up to Felsenegg. The views were simply amazing, the air crisp and...More

After a long afternoon walking from Uetliberg it was such a welcome relief to stumble upon the cable car. The five minute descent offered incredible views of Zurich and lake and, if there wasn't such a heat haze on the day, the Alps. We were...More

The Felsenegg cable car trip is a worthwhile visit if you have time to spend in your stay at Zurich. Its not that far from the main centre. The cable car is an experience and once you reach there, its rather beautiful to be up...More

The cable car ride is quick and smooth. The walk to the restaurant is short and easy. The view over the lake and back towards the greater area of Zurich gives an overview of the city's footprint.

It’s a very short ride, just 5 min and it’s not dangerous as well! By the way, in Switzerland all the cable cars are very safe and nothing wrong can happen!
