A short train trip & a cable car was well worth the effort. A venue where some paragliding is also done. A lady on her way to the top with us had her small portable paragliding kit with her ready for her jump. The views across the valleys , Lake Zurich & the snow covered Alps was an afternoon well... We took the S4 train to the Adliswil stop to take the aerial tramway to Felsenegg. The walk to the tram is about 10-15 min from the station and while a little hilly, should not be a problem for people who are in shape. I only mention it if you are with more frail or possibly elderly people, the walk... More

Much quieter than going to Uetliberg. Took a train to Adliswil, walked up (quite steep) to the cable car. 3 min journey up, great views of the lake and Alps and hardly anyone there. All free on the Zurichcard. Didn't stop for drinks/food as had own, lovely wooded stroll on easy to walk path. Do it!

We traveled from Geneva via train to Zurich, met friends who had traveled from the U.S. and had a fabulous day touring Zurich only to be topped off by the cable car ride up to Felsenegg. The views were simply amazing, the air crisp and clean as it was December and the snow covered the mountain. We loved it!!

After a long afternoon walking from Uetliberg it was such a welcome relief to stumble upon the cable car. The five minute descent offered incredible views of Zurich and lake and, if there wasn't such a heat haze on the day, the Alps. We were able to use our day's public transport pass, but if we weren't then there were... More

We took a ride up the cable car to the top and what splendor views of the Zurich area you have from up here. We also ate at the resturant at the top, trying some of the local cuisine and was not dissapointed. The guy at the bottom was fantastic and spoke very good english and gave us some tips... More

This is the only cable car in Zurich district, it provides a spectacular view of the city of Zurich. It's a bit of a hike after the cable car ride (5 Minutes long), there is a variety of wonderful restaurants with stunning view. Highly recommended when visiting Zurich. Suggestion: Get 24 hour pass that covers Zone 110,150,155 about 18 CHILDREN,... More

The Felsenegg cable car trip is a worthwhile visit if you have time to spend in your stay at Zurich. Its not that far from the main centre. The cable car is an experience and once you reach there, its rather beautiful to be up there to get the view of the alps and get some drinks and food with... More

The is a really nicety can take the funicular re up there or you can walk. I prefer to walk but I have also taken the funiculars. There is a restaurant close by and you can walk from the fenicular in the direction of Zurich or in the opposite direction in the direction of Langnau or further onto Zug. I... More

The cable car ride is quick and smooth. The walk to the restaurant is short and easy. The view over the lake and back towards the greater area of Zurich gives an overview of the city's footprint.
