The senses are overwhelmed as you wall inside the gallery. What a prolific painter Marianne North was - a true genius, able to link botanic art with what you actually see in the real world.

Couldn't wait to see this. Such a lovely collection. There are touch screens which show before and after pictures by M. North. It shows the destruction of landscape just to build a tourist attraction.

Marianne North gallery is located inside kew gardens and is free to visit. The gallery contains some extremely good botanical art paintings by Marianne North and there are over 800 paintings crammed into this display. A real spectacle and fantastic veiwing.

Nice exhibit inspired from world travels. Great for art lovers. Included in the entrance ticket for the Gardens. Well worth a visit if you have time

The Gardens open at 10 am and it was quite quiet then with some buildings not opening till later. The MN Gallery is near Victoria Gate entrance. If you intend to visit the park and see most of it on foot (or train) you can... More

Any time is a good time, but keep in mind that Kew Gardens, where it is located, attracts many tourists so I would stay away from the summer months. As for parking, I take the tube so I really don't know.
