We know similar erosion built forms in many other places, but the richness of anthropomorphic and zoomorphic ones there is amazing. A must for any kind of public with appreciation for the nature.

10euros to walk around a park which is not particularly well looked after! Muddy, uneven and slippery! For 20/30mins! Someone seems to think that by naming the shape of a few rocks they can charge extortionate prices!once you have seen the first few which are...More

If you’re visiting Cuenca (which you should)...make sure to stop by Ciudad Encantada. It’s about a 3km walk around the “park” and through it all you see various rocks formation that are incredible...perfect for nature lovers. Highly recommend it!

We just happened to stumble upon this amazing place that looks like a film set of a strange planet visited by Captain Kirk. These are all natural rock formations caused by constant soil and water erosions over many years. Ciudad Encantada or Enchanted City is...More

It's a bit of a hike outside the town - I guess some 20km - but it's well worth it. The geological formations are amazing anyway - but the whole area is laid out really sympathetically, with plenty of information everywhere to explain what you're...More

For the €5 entry fee a great afternoons entertainment. The rock shapes and water carved balancing features are magnificent. It's a beautiful place.
