We stopped at the Abbey for an hour or so. Beautiful, atmospheric and interesting. NB when I asked about the £3 parking charge, I was given £3 back at the shop straightaway on production of the car park ticket.

We were taken there by our Welsh friend. We really enjoyed wandering around, looking at the incredible detail. So good to see slices of history looked after and preserved. Great pub within walking distance and plenty of parking.
I think one of my better pieces of judgement is to purchase a Cadw card, as it has meant that we have spend more time in visiting castles etc that are on Cadw's list.
