Loved the Abbey, stands majestic and proud. Tintern and it's surrounding area is truly beautiful. No matter where your view of the Abbey you won't be dissapointed.

Beautiful ruined building in a scenic location - well worth a visit. Spent a pleasant hour exploring and simply sitting on a bench, admiring the view.

We visited Tintern for the day and walked up to The Devils Pulpit! What a fantastic view, there are a couple of good view points that look down over the Abbey, stunning.

Beautifully maintained Cistertian Abbey. The ladies in the reasonably priced gift shop were wonderful, I needed to find a post box and they found me a mobile post office ! Disabled access is limited, there are quite a few steps and obstacles. Admission is £6.50...More

WOW! The most beautiful Abbey. Tucked into the hills, this is a treat for those visiting Wales. Wandering through these beautiful ruins was spectacular. How impressive that they have lasted this long.
