Make sure you take a picnic and enjoy the picnic area, stream and trees (to climb in) before the farm opens at 2pm then follow Kiley (the farmer) around as he talks you around the farm and encourages the children to be hand on. We came to Boydells farm today with my 14 year old & 10 year old. All really enjoyed it. The farmer showed us round to start with and we all learnt about the animals and farm. We then got to hold the baby chicks for a good 10 minutes, milk the cow, have a ride on the donkey cart and... More

Great to take the children to see the beautiful animals on a working farm. They loved the goats and the donkeys. Beautiful cows and sheep. We always go for Carols in the Cowshed at Christmas too - right out of Vicar of Dibley!

What a little gem this place is. It isn't overly big and has all the usual animals that you would expect to see on a small farm but what makes it unique is the tour that you get from Kiley. He is very funny and encourages all the children to get hands on. He tells the children about the cows... More

A lovely afternoon at the farm. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. We went on quite a busy day and the kids all got to get involved and hands on. Very resonably priced too. Thanks again boydells 😊

An absolutely brilliant place to visit. Proper working farm run by wonderful people who want to share their animals and knowledge with children. Lots of animals, plenty to get involved with, bottle feeding lambs, feeding sheep, goats, cows - too many to mention. Kiley, the farmer was brilliant with all, explaining things in an easy but informative way. My granddaughter... More
