A hidden jewel in Vrhnika - well worth the visit

Wow, what a beautiful and informative little museum about the Lubijanica river, the waters and the Karst and the historic development of the region. Very well presented with exhibitions, texts, videos and an interesting walk through 3 different areas. Spent 1,5 hours and really enjoyed - 5 € entrance and I was all alone the whole time ...

Good surprise

Presentation in the side part of the library is modern, not just an average old fashioned description. You can admire amazing archeological finds and way of the interesting Carstic river and some fresh information about ecology. We all expect some more promotional plaques and guided tour.
