The road to the falls is narrow and not improved. There are two ways to get there and the one that connects to Highway 20 is a better road and it takes you past a covered bridge. The trail down to the falls can be...More

As I was hiking down to the falls I was thinking about that old marital councilor joke that goes, "How do Porcupines have sex? Carefully, very, very, very, carefully!" You could put that in a fortune cookie and it would be pretty inspirational. The hike...More

Nice trail with suspension bridge off the beaten path. Trails are nicely paved and area is very clean. Waterfall is by the suspension bridge, beautiful view and peaceful. Can climb down to get close to the waterfall or go for a dip!

And don't forget the suspension bridge. This 3 mile hike is worth every moment - even he occasional large buzzing bug around your head. They never landed or stung but a few swarmed our heads in a few spots around the trail. There is a...More

Moderatey easy hike, awesome suspension bridge over river with a great view of the falls. Best on a clear and sunny day. Csn see where trail could get quite slick after a rain. Enjoy!

Visited in August 2017. Absolute beauty. Hike is about 3 miles round trip. Wear tennis shoes because there are trip hazards on the path. Great photo opportunities the entire hike. The bridge is great. Suspended 100 feet above ground and 240 feet long... does move...More

After turning off of Hwy. 101 onto Drift Creek Rd. Just north of Salishan, follow the road to just before Wapiti RV park....if you see the R.v. Park, you've gone to far! The turn off says "Drift Creek Camp 10". Follow that road (paved) to...More

It is a trek back the one lane road to reach the trail head but it is worth the drive. It is rated easy but that is only if you are in good shape. The trail has steep inclines, many muddy pools that must be...More

I walk fast and was able to get my heart rate up while going back up trail to car, but I could have very easily strolled back to car with normal heart rate.

It is about 3 miles round trip. So figure about 2 hours, including time to enjoy & photograph the falls.
