Not crystal clear beach but acceptable

If you want to just play with your friends or family, it's a nice beach. No fishing and snorkeling here. The water is not clear but just ok.

Desaru Beach is serounding by a lot of resort. Pantai Desaru is still free to public and affordable to majority. We need only pay RM6 for parking and using the bathroom. It's still clean, well maintain and of course golden white & soft sand on the beach

What a tranquil and serene beach! Glad we took the hour and a half car ride here after visiting the Fruits Farm on the way there. Bought many fresh cut fruits all at only RM2/- per packet on packed ice. The Farm is run by a friendly proprietor named Richard. He has a shop selling souvenirs, fruits and nicknacks. Worth... More

Not much activities and foods price is killing the pocket. Beach scenery worth checking out. Roads condition very bad and lots of heavy vehicles.

The beach was okay. I did expect a little more but overall the experience was one of kind. However, beware, do not wear skippy swimsuits. Most people swim in their clothes and will frown upon you for showing a lot of skin.

Long stretch of white sandy beach good for basking in the sun (with sun lotion protection). Off-school holiday season is best and not too crowded. Hope for more choices of eateries in the near future!

Wow never expected such a beach in the outskirts of johor. The beach is clean and clear. Not so crowded in-spite of vacation. Good to spend evening with friends and family. We drove from johor after visiting ostrich farm. The drive route was Super cool with lot of trees on the way welcoming to the places ahead. Visit in the... More

The beach during our visit was very quiet but lovely to have leisurely walk along , on both days while walking the length of the beach we saw no one.
