The rock formations are very touristy and very crowded. There's a couple paths/walking trails that loop around on the island, and those are much less crowded but very worthwhile. I guess most go to see the rocks and then leave. The trails go up and down, and the views of the island and ocean from the top are absolutely lovely... More

Yeuliu's Geopark is truly captivating. This natural wonder will leave its visitor absolutely speechless. The beauty of this place is unreal as the skies seem extra clear and blue, which provide a beautiful contrast to the gold hue of the geological formations in the area.

When I lived in Taiwan I would go here several times a year. It's a short trip by bus (or train) from Taipei. The sandstone is ever changing, from the shapes at the ocean's edge to the ribbons and swirls of color in the interior formations. If you are lucky and stay until evening, shrimp boats go out at night... More

Different shapes of stone statues sculptured by the natural force of wind and sea dot a small stretch of coastline that form the geo park. It would have been a wonder to behold except mobs of visitors roaming on the beach and marring an otherwise tranquil atmosphere ...

Very nice unique rock formations but packed full of people, so makes taking a clear unimpeded photo difficult. The Queens Head was a bit disappointing as for some reason I expected it larger than what it really is. Still worth a visit though...

Only an hour away from Taipei. It's a nice sight showing seawater eroded holes and beautiful rock formations.

Yehliu Geopark is a must see nature park. It's a crowded place with alot of tourists from China. There is a long queue to take photo with the Queen Head.

Without a doubt, this place is picturesque! Love how they were able to preserve all those rock formations. Best to come here in the morning and use the remainder of the day visiting other cities.

We were in awe of this place! As other reviewers have noted, it was crowded, especially on the boardwalk areas, even though we visited on a rainy day. But there is plenty of room in the park for everyone to examine the rock formations up close, just be prepared to wait in line for a photograph with the Queen's Head... More
