We went mid week in April about 9-9:30 in the morning and got one of the last of the few parking spots on the right as soon as you come out of the tunnel. We are a couple in our early 60's in ok health...More

We were fortunate to find a place to park along the road about a tenth of a mile away from the trail after looping back toward tunnel. Suggest that those wanting to hike up the hill should go early in the day to avoid parking...More

Mile for mile, this is your best payback at Zion National Park. I am not saying that this is the greatest view in the park, but all the better views require a lot more hiking.

I'm obviously going to be positively biased about the hike (re: the title) but overall it was actually a great easy hike to start our trip in Zion off. My now fiancé was in a walking boot, which turned the easy hike into a little...More

This hike reminded me of a (very) mini Angel's Landing. The climb is somewhat steep, and there are plenty of narrow portions with opportunities to fall off the side of a cliff. It's fairly safe though and appropriate for children if they're adhering to standard...More

I did this trail in December of 2014 with my wife, very easy trail but two years later we brought our toddler with us on this hike. The trail starts off steep but it eventually levels out and most of the trail can be done...More

Not only is the view along the way AND the ultimate view at the end of the hike breath-taking, the Overlook Trail is loads of fun! It takes longer than 30 min. to hike though because you'll want to stop and take so many pictures!

Mileage wise, this hiking is not very long. However, there is some uneven and very narrow portions of the hike. I saw some small kids doing it, and I think that is fine. However, be advised that there are some portions without guard rails that...More

We traveled here through the tunnel from Zion. When you exit the tunnel there is a parking lot immediately on your right that holds 10 cars. If you travel a little further there is a parking lot on your left that holds 6 cars. Chances...More

This was a beautiful hike, but not for the faint of heart as it is mostly uphill but the view going up and at the top are breathtaking. We also saw some horned goats. Definitely worth the climb...

This is a great trail however, there are some very narrow parts with steep drops. That said, sometimes there is a guardrail. Sometimes there is a bit more room to hug the side of the rock. There is a part where a bridge... More

I think you can (but check with nps website) as shuttle's only cover the area north of that turning. Be warned parking at the overlook trail is very limited so get there early.
